For audio you need a cord that has a 3.5mm (standard headphone) jack on one end and RCA (red and white plugs) on the other. You can get them just about anywhere - RadioShack has them pretty cheap or you can get them for a few bucks on Amazon or Newegg.com if you can wait for shipping. Plug the 3.5mm into the headphone jack on the netbook and the RCA's into your TV.
That's it for cords. Then just follow the Window's instructions for setting up a second monitor on the Control Panel and you are all set!How can i connect dell netbook to my tv?i don't believe net-books have that feature. you would need to find a monitor port (place for a desktop monitor to optionally hook up) and make sure your tv has one as-well (the tv would need to be pretty new as-well. (most HDTV have them) and you will need to buy a cord for it. any electronics store has them there about $20.00 or so.
