How to restore Dell Inspiron 1750 without recovery disk?

I am working on my friend's Dell Inspiron 1750. It needs to have the factory settings restored, but we do not have the recovery disk or a Windows installation disk. It has Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I am able to log in in safe mode only. Is there any way to restore the factory settings without the recovery disk? If not, we can order a recovery disk. How to restore Dell Inspiron 1750 without recovery disk?Your Dell has a recovery partition on the Hard drive so as long as the drive has not been replaced then should still be there.
look at the following dell web page for instructions. Select step 2 PC RESTORE
You will find for your laptop and Win 7 it will be pressing F8 during the Dell logo display at early load time

you can check with dell customer help hotline if they are selling an installation disk, if not i think its much better that you just buy your copy of windows 7 and use that to reformat your pc.

windows 7 will have all the drivers so you dont have to worry, but if your still afraid about the drivers, just copy all the hardware models in your pc before you reformat.
